EXHIBITION PROJECT
For this project, I interpreted an exhibition theme to design a typographic poster, handout, and marketing material for Instagram.

I selected Yves Saint Laurent's 'Transparencies' exhibition, which emphasized the new, powerful and sensual female figures through the transparency of fabric. Drawing inspiration from this concept, I created a fictional exhibition called 'Unveiled,' which became the foundation for my designs.

I incorporated YSL’s signature black-and-white aesthetic and chose hot pink for the 'Unveiled' title to create a bold, standout effect. Using Illustrator, I carefully selected typefaces and adjusted their thickness, while fine-tuning the kerning and leading to ensure the typography effectively conveyed the essence of the exhibition through the designs. Additionally, I enhanced the model’s image by applying a grainy, high-contrast, monotone effect through Photoshop. This project was incredibly valuable, as it allowed me to merge my skills in typography, graphic design, color theory, and fashion to create cohesive and impactful visuals.
MOTION MEDIA
Stop Motion Animation
This project was part of my Movement and Time course, where I used a Canon professional camera to capture images that depicted movement using everyday objects. I matched the movements to the qualities of the sounds—whether jerky, smooth, dark, colorful, hard, fluid, or symmetrical. The goal was to translate sounds into visual expressions. I used Adobe After Effects to assemble this animation, refining my video editing skills. Although the process of compiling all the images into a cohesive video was time-consuming, I gained valuable experience in areas such as timing, layering, and motion graphics, as well as developing a keen attention to detail and patience throughout the creative process.

SUM Video Project
For my Movement and Time course, I worked on a project where I translated David Eagleman’s story "SUM" into a visual narrative through a video log. To bring the story’s exploration of the afterlife to life, I reviewed and compiled video clips taken throughout the semester to convey the themes of the afterlife and the speculative nature of life after death. Drawing on the concept of "life flashing before our eyes," I carefully selected a nostalgic and ethereal soundtrack to enhance the emotional tone of the piece and chose to display the fleeting moments in my life in the video. This project was incredibly valuable because it pushed me to think critically about storytelling through visual and auditory elements. By bringing abstract ideas to life, I gained a deeper understanding of how to evoke emotion and meaning through multimedia, an essential skill for any designer.
