About Me 

     Hi, I’m Veena, a sophomore at Northeastern University majoring in Design with a minor in Fashion. I’m the captain of Junoon, a Bollywood fusion competitive dance team, and an active member of Utsav and CUP on campus. I have taken a variety of design courses that include Experience and Interaction design, typography, representational drawing, and introduction to global fashion Studies. I've worked on projects like stop-motion animation, website development, and designing promotional materials like a poster and handout for a fictional fashion exhibition. I also have hands-on experience in sewing garments, including shirts and A-line dresses.

Currently, I’m a campus manager for Fresh Prints, a custom apparel company that allows me to merge my love for fashion and marketing. I’m also a Garage brand ambassador, and this past summer, I completed a product design internship in India at Onio Designs. My passion for dance extends to leading my own dance classes, where I choreograph, teach, manage finances, and promote my business. Additionally, I designed a website for a dentist in NYC over the summer.

 

I’m eager to explore opportunities in fashion and graphic design, and I’m excited to apply my skills in new and innovative ways, contributing my knowledge to dynamic, creative projects.
